I have been studying art my entire adult life.
Introduced to photography at a young age, I began my career
shooting photos in my backyard. My dad, also an
accomplished artist, enriched my early portfolio with many
unique and diverse photographic opportunities, including
western vistas, Missouri wildlife, and subterranean caves. My
first camera, the Canon T-70, is still a personal favourite and
remains in use.
Graudate of the University of Missouri-Rolla, and a true
Renaissance man, I have a passionate curiousity. I carry with
me significant aptitudes in literature, psychology,
philosophy, computer science, and graphics arts that
continue beyond my collegiate careers.
In 2000, I began painting professionally. Since that time, I
have created over 100 pieces of original abstract art. I have
been extremely lucky to show my work to countless patrons
and professionals. Most importantly, I am very proud to
support the Saint Louis community and sponsor the arts. I
am currently pursuing a second bachelor of arts degree in
graphic design at St. Louis Community College at Meramec.
Current photographic equipment: the Canon Elan 7-E, the
Canon EOS 10-D, and the Sony 8.1 Megapixel DSC-H9.
Lenses: Canon 65mm MP-E macro lens, a Tamron 19-35mm
wide-angle, and a Tamron 70-300mm telephoto lens.
Currently, I am 35 years old, study eastern philosophy, live
in Saint Louis and manager of my own studio.
